The System rack:
The signal processing is all analogue. One of the specs when we started out was that when a DJ plays vinyl we wanted the signal to remain analogue throughout the system, no ADC/DAC conversions.
First up is an Aphex Dominator 2 I’m using this as a limiter.
Next up, is an Ashly MQX-2150 used very lightly to pull the rumble off the subs and to flatten the peeks in response.
The 4 way crossovers were purchased off of Ebay and then completely gutted and retro-fitted. To do this I used Rod Elliot’s ESP P125.
The Amps are all Class D powered with Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).
